Arctic heat: Thom Browne Fall 2017 at New York Fashion Week

And then, along came Thom Browne. A narrator, a poet and a creator who uses all his rescources to set up a theatrical show and music, setting, garments, details, everything is needed and help him to tell the story. More precisely he’s a storyteller. His Fall-Winter 2017 collection was presented during New York Fashion Week in Chelsea in his art gallery basement that, for the occasion, has been transformed into an arctic environment. The designer sent out the models on ice-skate-shaped platforms, models who must have come from a L.S. Lowry painting. 50 shades of grey for the colour palette, but also multicoloured furry details and scarves.

Penguins on the prints and on the runway.
