White Milan chosed Situationist as guest brand during Milan Fashion Week: Fall 2017
Probably one the freshest voice of the Gerogian fashion scene, and, according to White Milano surely the best one, Situationist, brand founded in 2015 by Irakli Rusadze, presented the new Fall-Winter 2017 collection during Milan Fashion Week.
“I grew up sourrounded by Gerogian women, who were facing the challanges of a post-soviet Georgia on a daily basis, so the concept of femininity is strictly connected to women’s inner strength”. The designer falls within the scope of the post-soviet fashion movement (Gvasalia, Rubchinskiy) with a strong personal aesthetic that moves from his experience and from some traditional motifs.
Unconventional and disruptive, the collection is dedicated to women and features short-sleeved capes and bomber jackets alongside leather bodysuits.
