Narciso Rodriguez between formality and lightness: Fall 2017 at New York Fashion Week

No one can design a such precise and suitable collection like Narciso Rodriguez does. His Fall 2017 is an extremely contemporary collection, where contemporary means necessary, rational, un-excessive.

His goal for this season was to paint a portray of Rodriguez woman that is formal and rigorous, but not that serious, and to balance formality and easiness.

We saw black jampuits and dresses with deep necklines but the designer skilfully managed not to show too much of the body and to make the cloths look tasteless. On the contrary every piece smoothly disciplines the body, giving a shape, and at the same time lends maturity to the woman who wears it.
