If last season saw lots of clashing prints, tartans and flowers on Versace‘s runway, for Men’s wear Spring/Summer 2019 things were slightly restrained, even though the Medusa head brand never renounces to its extravagance.
Donatella Versace designed a collection for a self-confident man, who wants to use his clothing to exalt masculinity. The lineup is then composed by tailored jackets and knits combined with eye-catching peculiarities: lace (used in an ironic way), denim, newspaper prints, red and grey patent snakeskin and floral prints. Monochromatic suits are realized with vivid and highly-saturated hues.
