From the Spring Summer 2017 collections a deep look to what it’s happening this season

Spring officially started one month ago after a freezy winter season and now it’s time to look back at the Spring Summer 2017 proposals presented last September to see how the system has been reacting.

The clothes Pheobe Philo designed for Céline have a metropolitan and smart nature. This lesson has been learned and what we can easily spot around is the tendency to a easy-way-of-living. Sharp lines for the jackets and soft shapes and volumes (and fabrics) for the long and light draped dresses. The bags are oversized.

Simone Rocha designed a meaningful Spring Summer 2017 collection featuring garments fullfilled with cultural references. African and Creole elements are present as well as floral patterns. More than just clothes, Rocha’s creations enrich, somehow, the system with a deep reflection on style and the human being.

After the departure of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the maison Valentino is again in one man’s hands, Pierpaolo Piccioli. The women are seen thourgh the eyes of a male creator who, as the founder itself, is always able to give grace and be contemporary at the same time. Floral jewellery, mini bags and an explosion of colors and light fabrics.
