ETRO JUMPS INTO THE DEEP WATERS

Each fabric fiber of this parade of Etro breathed spontaneously. It’s written in the models walk, in their looks and gestures.
The concept, really thin and philosophical, is the man addiction to water. A magnetism that is congenital, as the desire to surrender to the sea beds.
To appear in the short film on the screen is Paul Boche, famous for his androgynous and ethereal beauty, perfect for playing the individual part in the quest for the infinite. For the rediscovery of his nature.
And so, Etro invites us to walk barefoot on a catwalk which is a great beach, sandy mother who welcomes all men. The Etro men have different ages, or better no age at all, and are not subject to any label. They slip free to express themselves, and free are the associations between shapes and colors to wear. The superb Timur Simakov, the young Russian artist who introduced the show, was dressed in a shirt roughly worn, paired with leather sandals, and a fisherman’s cap.
Free associations were also seen in the pajamas worn over t-shirt and jacket, with damask scarves let fall to the sides of the neck, regular fitting pants, large V-neck or boat neck t-shirts.
Etro uses the whole tone of the waters, from indigo to the deeper sky, from pastel gray to shell white.
A stand out, a light aquamarine shirt with ruffles on the front, particularly reminiscent of the ripples in the water, and the safari jacket worn by Ton Heukels, for the occasion left ajar on the sternum, and just fastened from the waist belt.
A tribute to the comfort of dressing smart and casual, with no orthodoxy, but with beautiful garments even to put on at random, before heading out on an adventure.
A fashion show that is a hymn to freedom.
