From Venice with love: Alberta Ferretti Fall 2017 at Milan Fashion Week
Make Italy great again, in fashion, at least. That’s the operation designers, fashion operators and institutions are working on to highlight Italian fashion idustry (again). Alberta Ferretti, who chosed Venice as inspiration for her Fall 2017, is a perfect example of this.
There was Venice in all its aspects on the runway on the fisrt day of fashion week: gondoliere-stripes on sweaters and long dresses, dark carnivalesque capes and masks recalling Kubrik’s Eyes Wide Shut, chiffon layered dresses with beautiful prints showing the romantic canals of the Serenissima.
A successful celebration and tribute to one of the most internationally visited city in the world.
