Backstage and close-ups from Fall 2019

It’s a great and tough upgrading of the Alberta Ferretti woman’s personality: if she previously was a sort of fairy tale princess dressed up in chiffon dresses, she is now using fashion more as a communication medium to express a new daring attitude. A fashion through which her self-confidence, ambition and her determined femininity go at the same speed with cultural mutations of modern society.

The Italian designer imagines the modern woman dealing with the dynamic reality of nowadays, and she wants to dress her by an unusual concept of daywear. Detaching from what street wear is generally intended, she elaborates her own interpretation of daywear in favor of a more subjective construction of one’s personal look through the art of couture.

The strength of character emerges from unexpected details in the Fall 2019 lineup: knits get voluminous through rouches aplenty, jackets and minidresses acquire a slightly military imprint; trousers are made of patchworked lamé fabrics or leather, conferring an equestrianism-inspired look. Lurex sparkles with golden and silvery tones, alongside the longline dresses covered with paillettes and mini glass embroideries, allowing her sophisticated daywear to be extended to evening as well.

We entered the backstage of Alberta Ferretti and captured some photos of the models getting ready for the show. Take a look at the photo gallery!
