A workshop led by Luca Lazzari

An itinerant workshop has been conceived and led by Luca Lazzari, founder and director of the photo and video agency Showbit.

Culminating this May, it was also coordinated by professor Giancarlo Sottoriva and addressed to the University students of Padova that were attending the course for Mediatori Linguistico-Culturali per la Moda (literally Linguistic-Cultural Mediators for Fashion).

It consisted of a full day of meetings around town with methodologically structured visits introducing students to several realities of the Milanese world of fashion. Including a Fashion Brand with its designer, a Marketing Manager, a Press Office, a Fashion/Beauty titles Publisher and a fashion Photo Agency.

The students could strengthen their notions concerning fashion business and integrate them with the discovery of fashion events (and their “behind the stage”), and visual communication in non-formal contexts, which they had started in the first appointment at the Milanese Men’s Fashion Week FW18, also led by Luca Lazzari last January.

The aim? To let the students experience the reality of Fashion Business on the field, since they only knew it from books. Getting ready to start their working life in any of the companies that crowd the wide fashion universe in all its production and service chains.
