Milan calls the beginning of Men’s Phygital Fashion Week
All is set for the Milan Men’s Fashion Week. Taking place from 15 to 19 January, the event held by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana will include phygital shows and presentations of the upcoming Fall/Winter 2021 season, alongside interviews, four fashion shows (Etro, K-Way, Fendi and Solid Homme) – unfortunately all behind closed doors – and thematic rooms that will explore contemporary topics such as sustainability and inclusion.
The Fashion Week will go then entirely digital on the platform milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it, with 37 brands on the official schedule. Among the biggest brands: Prada, Tod’s, Etro, Ermenegildo Zegna, Fendi, MSGM, Woolrich, Sunnei, Les Hommes, Miguel Vieira; while Dolce&Gabbana has canceled the show a few days ago; Giorgio Armani instead has announced he will not take part in this Fashion Week.
In the spotlight, we’ll see also numerous young talents, such as Dima Leu, who won Who’s Next 2020, and Dalpaos, Vaderetro and Tokyo James.
As Carlo Capasa, president of CNMI announced at a press conference, this edition will mark the beginning of a partnership between Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and Milan Fashion Film Festival, an event which will be held online from 13 to 19 January and will be presenting 220 fashion films from around the world, available on the FFF official website and on MyMovies.
This veritable cultural crossover aims at reuniting different communities and creative fields, and celebrate positivity and optimism for the coming future together.
