Go West: Givenchy Fall 2017 by Riccardo Tisci at Paris Men’s Fashion Week

In the last seasons we have witnessed Riccardo Tisci‘s clear passage from designing darkness to imagine and create something positive with an optimistic enthusiasm about the future and this Givenchy Fall 2017 collection, presented at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, proved it. The inspiration came from Western American culture (totems, stars and stripes that we found all over the collection) and, as the designer pointed out, the intention was not to steal anyone’s culture. At the end the mix between Tisci’s streetwear style and garments influenced by western imaginary was absolutely successful.

After menswear Tisci presented his couture pieces.
